Following the success of the first ‘Ladies What Lunch’ event in 2009, (a fundraising event in aid of Breast Cancer Care), Nickie Gott, Company Director of local event management company She’s Gott It! decided to make her concept an annual event ‘to give something back’.

The second ‘Ladies What Lunch’ event took place on Tuesday 12^th October 2010 at the glorious Beamish Hall Hotel & Country Park.

Ladies were treated to an utterly English feast of sandwiches, fancies, tea cakes, scones, homemade biscuits and lashings of tea. Central to the event guests had the chance to feast their eyes on models showing off the latest Autumn/Winter Collections supplied by local retailers. Stall exhibitors and demonstrations were given from a range of companies such as: The Pampered Chef, Molton Brown, Lancome, Bodyshop, LeBeado and many more.

The importance of organisations such as Breast Cancer Awareness became apparent when She’s Gott It’s Company Director was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a long hard battle Nickie managed to beat the disease and is now in remission. Nickie believes that ‘Ladies What Lunch’ is a chance to give something back to those who supported her through a difficult period.

Nickie Gott: “Having recently undergone treatment for breast cancer I felt the benefit of a number of breast cancer support networks. Now having recovered, I am delighted that I can use the expertise within my company She’s Gott It! to design and deliver an event to provide essential backing to Breast Cancer Care. It is a wonderful organisation which provides tremendous support to thousands of women in the UK affected by breast cancer. We ran ‘Ladies What Lunch’ last year and it was a huge success. In 2009 we raised £1,500.00 and we were delighted to deliver it again 2010”.

She’s Gott It! managed to raise in excess of £2,000 to give towards Breast Cancer Care.

Nickie hopes that ‘Ladies What Lunch’ will grow into an annual event which will fuse fashion, music, beauty and of course ladies lunching all in aid of raising vital funds for the Breast Cancer care charity.

ALL proceeds raised will go towards Breast Cancer Care!
