CIPR Northern Conference 2010 - Social Media backlash?

So is social media all hype and no substance or is it changing the way we communicate

forever?

Delegate's who came along to this year’s CIPR Northern Conference, sponsored by County

Durham Development Company, were given the chance to decide for themselves.

The conference was a must attend event for anyone responsible for managing their

organisation’s reputation. It attracted professionals from the north east, north west and

Yorkshire regions of the CIPR, with speakers from across the UK.

The exciting mix of keynote speakers and practical workshops meant that there was

something for everyone, no matter what their level of experience or expertise.

Keynote speakers included broadcaster Rory Cellan Jones, and Thomas Power, chairman

of Ecademy and onetime apprentice to Lord Sugar, one of the most connected people

in the world.
