SGI supports Carols of Light

She's Gott It! is delighted to be supporting the 'Carols of Light' event which takes place this coming Thursday 8th December 2011, at Durham Cathedral from 20:00pm.

The 'Carols of Light' event is a spectacular evening of music and readings with a host of celebrity guests including Sir Thomas Allen as well as the Cathedral Choristers. The perfect way to kick off the festive season, raising money for two North East charities, the Durham Cathedral Music Endowment Fund and SAFC Foundation, this spectacular, festive celebration in the presence of HRH The Countess of Wessex and members of the Sunderland AFC team features readings and performances by Sir Thomas Allen, newly appointed Chancellor of Durham University.

Other performers include: Joe McElderry, Barbara Dickson, Rick Wakeman, The Futureheads, Alan Price, Clare Teal, Durham Cathedral Choristers, Durham Cathedral Young Singers, Monkwearmouth Salvation Army Band, George Clarke, Niall Quinn MBE, Steve Cram MBE, Sir Tim Rice, Kate Adie OBE, The Rt Hon David Miliband MP, The Bishop of Durham, Kathryn Tickell.
