Nickie took the brave step of registering for the Race For Life and took part on Sunday 16th May in Gateshead, helping to raise £625 for the charity Cancer Research UK.

On seeing Nickie yesterday morning (back in the office) she said, "I did it in 50 minutes to which for me was very impressive, I ache today though!!!"  

This was Nickie's first time taking part in this very worthy cause.

As some of you may know, Nickie survived cancer and she is now like 'wonder woman', she is fine and fit again and ready to start helping others who greatly need support to get through it too!

Events like Race For Life are vital in Funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. For those of you that so kindly sponsored Nickie, you helped more people survive cancer.
