NEHSN Second Annual Conference at the Sunderland Stadium of Light - Friday, March 07, 2008 from 9am

The North East Higher Skills Network would like to invite you to our second annual conference on the 7th March 2008. We are putting together a day of presentations and workshops aimed at education practitioners, employers and other stakeholders involved in the skills agenda in the North East. There will be something for everyone with a choice of workshops in our 3 key areas of access and progression, employer engagement and information advice and guidance. Partner institutions within the Network will have the opportunity to share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst addressing key issues related to the skills agenda. The programme for the day is being developed and further information will be circulated over the next couple of weeks. However we are delighted that Professor Deian Hopkin, Chairman of the Universities UK Skills Task Group has agreed to speak at the event. Last years conference attracted more than 250 delegates and feedback confirmed that the event was well received. We aim to build on this success in 2008.
